  1. Removed corroded fuselage strut fittings.  New fittings not available.  Removed corroded fittings tested by Metallurgical Engineers Inc; Charlton Laboratories Bldg. Portland, Oregon and found to be Aluminum Alloy 2024-T42.  New fittings fabricated by Electronics Specialities; Portland Division; to original dimensions from Aluminum Alloy 7075-T6. Mil. Specifications show fabricated fittings stronger than original 2024-T42 material.  Fittings fastened to fuselage with AN Bolts.  Copies of testing and fabricating data on file with Keystone Aircraft; Portland Oregon.
  2. Removed Narco Mark I radio unit and installed Narco Mark II in same original radio panel.  Dimensions, weight and current draw same as previously approved Mark I.
  3. Inspected previously installed anti-collision light by person or persons unknown and found installation conforms to Advisory Circular 43-13-1 and acceptable shop practices. Light installed on top of fuselage at arm of + 78.

  Brian Woodford of Singapore imported #1028 to have it modified, by installing an IO-540 engine.  Unfortunately, the Seabee ended up sitting abandoned at the edge of Singapore Seletar Airpatch.  Later reports from the early 1980ies indicate that the Seabee could only be found by search from helicopter, and by then the jungle had grown around and up through it.
