on take off from South River / Sundridge Aerodrome (CPE6), Ontario.
At local time 20:00, the pilot departed runway 04 and the departure was
witnessed. As the pilot rotated on the roll, the aircraft lifted off
and ascended to approximately 100 feet above ground level (AGL) and
commenced a banking turn to the right. The aircraft continued and
approximately 180 degrees into the tur the nose dropped and the aircraft
descended in a steep right wing down attitude crashing and coming to rest
inverted approximately 200 feet to the right of runway 04. The pilot
sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident, and later died
from the injuries. Wreckage stored at aerodrome. |
