PARTING
OUT AN FN-333
RIVIERA
WITH 1100 TOTAL TIME AND NO SALT WATER HISTORY
I have a
Riviera
that was wrecked so I am parting it out. Most all the removable
components are useable and some of the airframe parts are in
repairable condition.
Please email me with your
specific needs at:
dbotich@aeromods.com
Most all of the main gear
is undamaged and includes new Cleveland HD brakes (25 hours
since new) along with all the approved paperwork for the
installation, new Goodyear Flight Custom 3 tires, actuators,
hoses, etc. No corrosion anywhere.
The nose gear is undamaged except for the lower torque link. The
tire has about 25 hours since new.
This plane was low time and in mint condition. It had never been
in salt water and it is 100% corrosion free.
RE: the brake conversion, I have all the approved paperwork for
the
Cleveland
disc brake conversion. Getting the field approval on this was
simple. I just showed them that this was a major improvement in
stopping power and was being done to improve safety. They loved
to hear that! These brakes worked fantastic and you could really
stop with having to use reverse.
This would include the following:
Wheels complete with bearings and seals
Goodyear Flight Custom 6.50 x 8 tires and tubes
Parker Cleveland brake assembly 30-52N with chrome disc
164-13601
Brake torque plate
AeroQuip brake hoses
All approved paperwork FAA 337 field approval
Note that the hoses, brakes, discs and torque plates have 25
hours TT since new. Cost was $2,600 for these. The tires have 3
hours and 2 landings since new. Cost was $500 for these.
Other parts that are usable are:
Fuel tanks, all the
hydraulic related stuff: accumulator, reservoir, controls,
actuators, valves, pump, gauge, bell cranks, pulleys, control
rods, etc...
All interior panels, seats (repairable), etc.
TCM
IO-470-P Engine information
Engine 159.7 SMOH
This would include the
engine complete with log books, accessories, exhaust, engine
mounts, prop governor and control pulley assy., magnetos,
harness, plugs, fuel control and pump, hydraulic pump,
generator, engine baffling (white powder coated), propeller,
spinner (damaged) and back plate, propeller reversing valve and
lines, and anything else that is attached to it, etc...
Basically this would be a firewall aft pull.
The condition is as follows: the engine was overhauled by
Performance Engines in CA on 4/2001. This was their stage III
overhaul and cost $29,900. They did a beautiful red paint at
that time with chrome valve covers. The engine was not turning
at the time of the accident so it was not a prop strike. The
shaft was checked for runout and is within spec.
This shop is very highly
regarded and they build race engines. New cam, lifters,
completes cylinder assemblies, completely blue printed and
balance. I have a copy of their work order.
Hartzell
HC-A3X20-5L propeller information
We had the propeller
resealed and the 5 year AD complied with prior to the accident
by American Propellers in CA. It came back looking like new.
They replace some parts and it costs us $3,750 for this work. I
have disassembled the prop and everything looks like new except
for the blades. One is bent and the other two are straight, but
have some scratches on them from handling the wreckage. It is
now in the prop shop and they have reported that it is in an
overhaulable condition. I will deliver it with a fresh overhaul
for the buyer.
The propeller will have 0
SOH and AD compliance at time of sale.
